Star Brands is a UK-based manufacturer of private label and branded household cleaning and laundry products. Star Brands supplies major supermarkets and discount retailers in the UK with private label products. The company has a particular focus on specialist laundry products, such as drain un-blockers and anti-bacterial laundry cleanser, which have seen strong growth in recent years. Star Brands also supplies a range of branded products, such as Star Drops and The Pink Stuff, which are predominantly sold in bargain stores in the UK.

Pragma supported Mobeus with commercial due diligence. Pragma has undertaken a range of engagements in the household goods space. The household cleaning and laundry market in the UK is estimated to be worth over £2.4 billion, with growth in the private label sector out-pacing growth in the branded sector.
